Virginia Tech will always deliver fond memories to me each day that I spend working in the classroom. I knew teaching was my calling the very first time I met and spoke with professors who had the same desire to enlighten and broadened minds that I found within myself. I started out teaching at Potomac Job Corps in Washington, DC and then moved on to Immaculata College of Washington (exclusive college for children of the world’s diplomatic community). With each new position I was blessed to be able to advance in my career. Presently, I am teaching at Northern Virginia Community College (the nation’s largest community college) where I hold the position of Professor in Business and Information Systems Technology. I have been here since 1980. I am the college representative to the governing body in the state capitol. I am a member of Kappa Delta Epsilon and the National Business Education Association.
